Abstract

The invention provides a display device. In order to improve the transmissivity of each pixel and the brightness of a high-definition screen, a TFT and a projection (BK) are disposed in each pixel, a source electrode (ST) of the TFT extends so as to cover the projection, an inorganic passivation film (PAS) is formed over the TFT and the projection, an organic passivation film (IN) is formed on the inorganic passivation film on the TFT, an opposed electrode (CT) is formed on the organic passivation film, an upper insulation film (UPS) is formed over the opposed electrode, a pixel electrode (PX) is formed on the upper insulation film, and the pixel electrode is connected to the source electrode through a connection hole (CH) formed in the inorganic passivation film (PAS) and the upper insulation film (UPS) on the projection. Accordingly, the diameter of a through-hole (CH) can be made smaller so as to improve the transmissivity of the pixel.
本发明提供一种显示装置,在高精细画面中,通过使连接源电极与像素电极的通孔的直径减小,使像素的透射率提高,使像素亮度提高。在像素内配置有TFT和突起(BK),TFT的源电极(ST)覆盖突起地延伸,覆盖TFT和突起地形成无机钝化膜(PAS),覆盖TFT上的所述无机钝化膜地形成有机钝化膜(IN),覆盖有机钝化膜地形成对置电极(CT),覆盖对置电极地形成上部绝缘膜(UPS),在上部绝缘膜上形成像素电极(PX),像素电极在突起上经由在所述无机钝化膜(PAS)以及上部绝缘膜(UPS)形成的连接孔(CH)与源电极导通。由此能够使通孔(CH)的直径减小,能够使像素的透射率提高。
